Since enrolling in the new "Competition 1" class at KCC this last fall, they've practiced the menu they'll prepare for the last one-and-a-half months. Over the course of the last seven months the seven team members have prepared fundraising dinners. One of the dinner raised $15000 at Roy's Restaurant; members cooked alongside top chefs here and won the Western Regional gold medal and championship in Seattle last month, the first Hawaii team to do so. Over the centuries they have made of oak or advancedBamboo leaf wrapped portions in lacquered wooden boxes, polished aluminum and modern plastics.

There are contests held where people compete to win prizes and prestige for the design of elaborate bento boxes. This kind of artistic Bento is a kyaraben called. It is aesthetically similar to the food, people, flowers, plants or animals. Some are so nice to see also good to eat ... well almost!

Of course, bento boxes today in many placesthroughout Japan, but now bento boxes are taken America by storm! Traditional Japanese bento boxes are quick to lunch box must have because otherwise brown paper excavator. I recently bought a "laptop bento" for my daughter, Danielle. It was cooled in a thermal event that resembles a laptop computer - and of course it was almost the same price. It is a typical bento for a "Middle Schooler" - not too noticeable. After opening theCase shows, rooms for all kinds of goodies. Each room has its own lid and they fit together like a puzzle. She absolutely loves it!

Packing a bento

No matter how old to get my children, they still love to help pack their lunches with fun foods. When we go hunting for fun, we often Bento Box Japanese dollar store in downtown San Mateo. They have a wide variety of kid-friendly lunch packaging concepts. One of my favorites are the food types. With absolutely noimportant artistic abilities kitchen you can make food in simple animals, cars, trucks, trains, plant or human forms. Try it with brown rice and vegetables for an Asian flair, tuna or chicken salad, egg, or even "must-have meatballs with them!

Just as the use of the Japanese container - Fusion while packing her meal. Use California nouvelle cuisine is a blend of cultures with fresh local ingredients and new fun presentation style to any classic. This little treasureChests are ideal for groups served in a fresh new way that your children will love to see yesterday's meal again. Remember to be creative and artistic to take part in packing a Bento and your child. The better it looks and the more they enter the more likely they are to eat!

With this fun packed lunch and some of your backupown cultural feelings inside. Here are some ideas to go around you. The inclusion of a variety of foods your child will enjoy it much less often succumb to when they hear: "I will change you!" in the cafeteria.

Mac 'n Cheese - Macaroni and cheese left over, fresh sliced tomatoes, steamed vegetables and fresh fruits finger (grapes, berries, cherries, melons, diced, sliced, Kiwi, etc.). You'll be sure to devour this child-friendly favorite. All in separate containers placed or pressedinto fun shapes.

Now, with some experience under my belt Bento I can honestly say that not only childrenlove this crafty container - but I also know. They are also ideal for picnics, travel, lunch, or whenever you'll be away from home. They make sense! Another important thing ... Bento boxes do require some washing after the box arrives home. This is another great opportunity but to participate and teach the children washed some of the early childhood responsibility as their lunch box and get it ready for the next day to help.
